I know this doesn’t affect everyone, but where I’m from (Minnesota), winter is hibernating season. I imagine even in the south, people tend to exercise less and eat more during the busy holiday season. Now that it’s officially fall, do you have a plan for how you’re going to move?
Gyms in our area revamp their fall group-fitness schedules in order to accommodate more people who get memberships just for cold months. Winter sports are always an option as well. Unlike many other people, I exercise more in the winter for two reasons. 1) I end up teaching more fitness classes because there are often more classes on the schedule and more opportunities to

2) I play hockey and downhill ski.
Some enjoy running until the snow falls, others go snowshoeing. My mother loves cross-country skiing. I think there are many options but you just sometimes have to think outside the box. Indoor workouts work well if you know you’ll actually do them. I’m the type who keeps group involvement. Getting myself to lift weights at home instead of cuddling up on the couch is nearly impossible. What is your plan? Feel free to share in comments to give others ideas!
